Do Verstappen and Russell have to watch their back? This is what Norris hopes for

For Lando Norris, qualifying did not turn out the way he had hoped it would. After a disappointing Q3, the British driver looked ahead to Sunday's Grands Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
After topping the third and final free practice session on Saturday, Norris only finished in P7 in Qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix, meanwhile, his teammate Oscar Piastri finished in P3.
This means that only for the second time this season (the first occasion was at the Chinese GP Sprint), there will be no McLarens on the first row of the grid.
Norris himself also hopes for the some chaos on Sunday, in order to make up for his lesser result the day before.
"I'll hope so. Yes, I mean, it'll make my race a bit more interesting and the more opportunity that comes my way, the better tomorrow. I think we can go forwards anyway, but not a lot, it's not like we're easy one-two like we have been on a lot of tracks. So it's going to be a bit more difficult but yeah anything that can help us will be very well.
About the strategy, he continued: "It could be easily a one, two or three stop depending on how the tyres behave tomorrow. So of course I'll hope for a bit more to happen, but not as confident as in other places, for sure. Bit still confident we can go forwards, but clearly I think we don't have the best car today. So it will be a struggle to get to the top."

What hurts the MCL39 this weekend?

So far this season, the Woking-based team's car has been the one to beat. The Briton also explained what makes this weekend more challenging for them.
"It's just very low grip. I think first of all is one of the bigger things and therefore the car balance just never comes together as much as what it does on other tracks. So probably just yeah, low grip and then some of the curb riding bumps, which just hurts us it seems more than some others."
