Norris wins the Hungarian Grand Prix

Lando Norris managed to beat out Oscar Piastri and Charles Leclerc to take home the Hungarian Grand Prix win. Afterwards, Leclerc expressed that there was an issue with his chassis that caused him to lose out on pace. Ferrari team principal, Frederic Vasseur, explained that there was a moment when he believed Leclerc was not going to make it to the finish line.

After winning the grand prix, Norris celebrated with his 'secret' girlfriend Margarida Corceiro. The two shared a loving kiss as the cameras cut away from Piastri to show them on the big screen.

Verstappen investigated for Hamilton incident

One of the biggest news moments of the day was the stewards' investigation into Max Verstappen. During the Hungarian Grand Prix, Verstappen made a move to overtake Hamilton. Hamilton reacted and went off the track. Hamilton claimed he was trying to avoid a collision while Verstappen did not see a reason for the investigation.

During the meeting with the stewards, Hamilton did not show. Afterwards, it was announced that Verstappen would not be penalised.

Hamilton hailed as the 'GOAT' after negative comments

Hamilton's previous team principal, Toto Wolff, described him as the 'greatest of all time' or GOAT after being asked about his negative comments. After Saturday's qualifying, Hamilton said that he was useless and should be replaced. It was not only Wolff who came to Hamilton's defence, but also Hamilton's teammate Leclerc and his team principal Vasseur.

Vasseur said that Hamilton was "frustrated but not demotivated.". Hamilton himself told fans to "not count him out" after his bad race results.
