Max Verstappen's superb qualifying performance where he managed to pip both of his title rivals dimmed in comparisson to the hot topic of his penalty points tally. And he sees the British press as the instigators.
Speaking to Dutch media following the FIA post-qualifying press conference, the Dutchman said: ‘’It's just childish. I think it's a waste of time, I really don't care about it at all. They probably don't have anything better to ask. It's just getting really annoying’’.

The bomb exploded at Verstappen after qualifying

After a rather strong qualifying performance where he finished P2, the Dutchman denounced the line of questioning he had to undergo during the FIA sanctioned press conference.
F1's official interviewer Tom Clarkson chose to brave it out and risk Verstappen's rage, which he ultimately got.
''When I'm there, I'm counting down how long a press conference like this will last. This is definitely not fun. I'm here to perform and do the best for the team and then I'm going home. I'm not here for anything else. And this kind of commentary from the English press is just really childish. I don't want to waste too much time on it.''
