It seems that Max Verstappen will not be competing for the world title this season. The Red Bull Racing driver is also not always at the forefront this year. Is it then difficult for the Dutchman to retain his motivation?

Max Verstappen has won two Grands Prix so far in 2025. He won the Japanese Grand Prix and the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. The recent races have been more challenging for the Red Bull Racing driver. It's been four races since he was on the podium.

The Dutch GP marks the start of the second half of the season. Verstappen stated that theoretically, the circuit in the Netherlands could be the best track for him for the rest of the season. There are still ten races to go this year.

Thus, it seems that Verstappen will not be able to compete for the world title, and podiums have been a challenge in recent weekends, too. But is it then difficult for the Dutchman to keep his motivation for the upcoming ten Grands Prix?

Can Verstappen maintain his motivation for the rest of the F1 season?

"It's not that hard, to be honest," he initially responded. "There will be a time that it won’t happen. Unfortunately, that is a bit the case at the moment."

"But it doesn’t make sense for me to be frustrated or be screaming about it, because it's just a waste of energy. That’s not what I'm doing. I think we just need to look at the car and the operation and how we can move forward in the future and be better. That’s what we are doing currently," concluded Verstappen.
